Tech & Safety Rules
Every car must pass tech inspection each time it is driven at Driftplex. Check your car before you arrive and keep it safe throughout the day.
MUFFLERS ARE REQUIRED
Your car must have mufflers. Cars deemed excessively loud will not be allowed to run.
Driver & Vehicle Safety Checklist
- Full-face DOT helmet: A full-face, DOT-rated helmet is required.
- No fluid leaks: No fluid leaks of any kind are permitted.
- All lug nuts installed and torqued: Every lug nut must be present and properly torqued.
- Battery secured: The battery must be securely tied down.
- Seat and seat belt secured: The seat and seat belt must be securely mounted and fastened.
- No sticking throttle: The throttle must operate freely and return properly without sticking.
- Working brakes: Brakes must be in good working condition.
- Mufflers installed: Mufflers are mandatory, and excessively loud cars will not be allowed to run.
